Sorry, Not the same as Max Linders, just similar. Both are quite good but the joke is different. In the context of the movie, the Marx version is better. The Max linder's version needs no context and it stands on its own, which can makes it better. A matter of taste I suppose. As for "rip off", you don't know the meaning of the term. It was quite common in the days of Vaudeville for people to "borrow" material form others. It wasn't until more recent times it became an artistic sin.

Anyone else feel that under the Kirby series cute surface there is something really disturbing. I mean, the first Zero's main attack was cutting himself and bleeding all over you. And the Dark Matter in Kirby 64 did creepy stuff like give Dedede a mouth on the stomach and hiding their planet inside a queen. And then the surreal Zero-Two. That's because Marxism is mainly a philosophical issue. By that I mean, under Capitalism people are educated to believe that they have to outcompete each other by having better jobs, more money to spend, in order to make them happy. In short: Capitalism creates wealth for all. But then ask the question: who's doing all the work, who decides where the wealth is going? If I do some work, and recieve money, how can I ever know if that is the real value I created just there?

Macfarlane is generaly well read, intelligent person who is only superficially acquainted with the writings of Karl Marx. His clearest howler is to say that Marx was raised in an orthodox Jewish family. In fact his entire family were baptised as protestant Christians. He also seems to say that Marx's historical materialism was influence by Darwin. As a matter of facts it was arrived at in the 1848 Communist Manifest well before the publication of the Origin of Species. More but no more space.

Adam Smith did NOT provide the blueprint for our western world. What Smith did was theorizing a Utopian Capitalist system, wich then should have brought peace, equality and wealth to everybody. Now everyone knows today, that since Smith published his works, we never have seen such a world. i think marx soul is easier to beat than marx cuz once u battle arx, u will know MOST of the moves he uses, but when battling marx soul, he uses a mega paint ball move and a paint rain move(both kinda hard to dodge). the best ability to use would have to be stone(invincibility) or mirror(reflect guard) fighter is a maybe and same with hammer.

I love the Marx brothers, but only as friends. They are always worth a good laugh. My Aunt Ellie had a bad laugh but a bad laugh is better than no laugh at all. Fortunately she had it removed and we all had a good laugh. She did recover. Which was good for all of us as Aunt Ellie uncovered was not a pretty sight. She did pass on however. @robbiedaug I stop speaking to my dad about 10 years ago when him and my mum splitted, he tried to talk to me but I was a child and confused so I was cold with him. As I grew start understanding what happened and that he never stop loving me, andI lost his contact... I wish I could tell him how much miss him... I think there are just as fine actors/actresses out there today as there were back in these days. It's the lack of good screenplays and ideas, and the fact that you can make a movie on special effects alone that is the downfall of todays "Hollywood".
